— October is coming to a close, and that means it’s time for me to reinforce and reestablish expectations and goals with clients that we have set together so they can stay on task and in line with their goals through the holiday season.
November is also when I start accepting new clients for remote coaching. With 50-60 sessions each week, my full-time client roster is pretty much at capacity, but I still have room in my part-time and flex memberships, which include in-person training. These memberships offer fewer in-person sessions, once a week or once a month, and complement remote coaching, specifically in my local community.

— Joe Hudson notes that emotions shape our decisions. To thrive, let go of insecure “dirty fuel” and learn to love the process. Give yourself space to feel your emotions, practice small acts of vulnerability each day, respond playfully to your self-talk, and spark a sense of wonder with open-ended questions.
Personal Update
I need to do a better job finding stress-management strategies that affect me less when I can’t necessarily control things. For example, I had a few air-conditioning issues with the facility pop-up back-to-back, and even though they offered solutions fairly quickly and explained how things would be tested and fixed, I was still a bit stressed. I wasn’t losing sleep over it, and I am much better at communicating this stress than I was in the past, but it's an ongoing learning process.
It’s something that creeps into your focus. I’m trying to focus on delivering a high-quality experience for my in-person clients around drips and buckets on the floor while also building, growing, and finishing “important projects” that are more or less auxiliary to this major issue affecting your day-to-day. It’s just a lesson and an opportunity to learn something new about myself. What do you do in these types of situations?
On a fun note, playing golf in Miami's fall weather is incredible compared to the sun-strangling heat some summer days bring.
