Constraints are often seen as something that creates limits, and in some cases they do, but they can also be beneficial. This was something I first picked up during art classes where teachers would create assignments that were limited in the tools you could use, the types of paints, the colors, techniques, and even things like constraining your viewport of a subject. I didn't always appreciate it, but it always unleashed a spark of creativity in my ability to solve problems.
