This is more common than you might think. Whether you want to make a small change or a big change, it’s often difficult to notice progress in your physical appearance from your own perspective. We often just “miss” seeing here the changes are visually because we see our own bodies differently than others do(especially if you do not have a positive image of yourself). I have even gone as far as using the compliments of others as a sign of progress with clients I used to train. If they were complimented in anyway we would discuss it, and that helped create a more positive feedback loop outside of looking in their own mirror for validation of progress.
