The Monday Report
May 8th, 2023| The glitz and the glamour you see isn't an indicator of success or quality, its a public display of some ones priorities. The camera off version of the person holds higher value.

Personal Update
It was a busy F1 Grand Prix prep for the city of Miami, but a pretty quiet week for me. These last 2 years people have been going nuts for it down here, but the city only put on a show for the weekend. Most of what you will see is fabricated specifically for the people coming into town for the event; streets are cleaner, closed warehouses open with pop-up shops in them, public places are rented for events, Wynwood Walls is closed to the public to hold elite private events, then it will deflate itself back down to its non-event Miami style. The show that surrounds the event is bigger than the event itself and then race doesn’t even take place IN the areas that change the most. At least Art Basel changes the city and takes place in the neighborhoods that host the events.
Last week I took on a new client she was a true beginner in the gym but, in an interesting twist she has worked with a trainer before, but they only ever went to her house. At first, it was a confusing beginning because she is not a true beginner to coaching, and performs most of her movement patterns pretty well (good job from the previous trainer’s work). Still, she has no idea how to use any equipment and is pretty unsettled about using weights. It will be fun working with her because there will be so many moments where she is learning how to have comfortable independence in the gym and having so many “little wins” on her way to reaching her goals.
I will be doing another round of major even updates within the next week so keep your eyes open for ones that come to your area.
Would you like an event submission form for any you think I might have missed or ones you don’t see?
