The Monday Report
July 29| Transparency builds trust. I don't know how you feel about it, but to me there has been no better avenue to build high-quality relationships that last. Start with truth, end with honesty.

This poll’s results were surprising! For the 40% who said Vitamin B-12; Methylcobalamin & Cyanocobalamin ARE BOTH VITAMIN B-12!!!!
I’m not going to burry the lead for the 34% of you who selected “just tell me already” The answer is Methylcobalamin because it is the naturally occurring form and is most bioavailable & Retention from meat , dairy, eggs fish and shellfish. Cyanocobalamin is the close second but has to be converted into Methylcobalamin once in the body, is the synthetic version, and because it’s more stable it is usually found in vegan products and any product fortified with vitamin b-12.
I asked this question for 1 reason in proving a point I was talking about with a client. “Just because you can’t pronounce it doesn’t mean its bad for you!” I wasn’t shocked seeing non-coaches who follow me make up that 40% group who answered Vitamin B-12 because you don’t know what you don’t know, and nutrition much like exercise is a field that sits on both sides of the fence. It has very confusing sciency words known by practitioners and the common terms known by the wider public. It’s just like how Hypertrophy means “muscle growth”, or how the financial world says it’s a Bull Market when they really just mean rising stock prices.
To the coaches who were in that 40% group though…it might be time to seek some furthereducation in nutrition so you can better serve your clients. Here is a free resource for you: The Linus Pauling Institute Micronutrient Information Center from Oregon State University.
Fantastic podcasts I heard last week:
Unbiased Science: Snake Oil For The Soul: Exposing Mental Health "Wellness" Grift
Sigma Nutrition Radio: #527: How to Prevent & Treat Hypertension – Dr. Mohammed Alo, DO
The Strong AF X Well-Conditioned Show: Ep 47: The Best Way To Gain Muscle?
Here’s a link to download Snipd, the podcast app I use to make a “notebook” of A.I. transcripts, bookmarks within episodes, and take notes on each podcast I hear! They have a free app you can use or, with this link, you get 1 month of their Premium version for free: 1 Free Month Of Premium Snipd
Personal Update
I am a littler under 30 days away from the 1 year mark of receiving the keys to the empty commercial space that I turned into my HQ. It started as a blank slate for me to re-invent the direction of my career in the industry. I nearly shit a brick through the process, but here we are making it happen. I have started an post to talk about it and will work on it a little everyday until August 23, 2024 when I will release it on the exact 1 year mark.
