The Monday Report
July 24| If you're not learning more about your honing craft or understanding yourself, you will inevitably find yourself sliding into a state of bewilderment.

Personal Update
I was sick all last week! It was Monday afternoon; I had recently finished my last session and was ready to have my late lunch with my usual feeling of mild fatigue from the day. I thought I was extra tired for the day, and while digesting my meal, I was getting ready for my new routine afternoon jog. It turns out I would not be “just extra tired,” and I was beginning to feel bad. Usually, when I am sick, I can still get some work done at home, even when I cancel all my usual training sessions, but that did not happen. It did not happen all week, and it upset me because I felt like an unproductive waste of space sitting at home doing nothing. I reminded myself that I have to keep practicing patience for things out of my control, but it wasn't easy because, at first, it felt like I was merely stacking this on top of all the other stuff I am practicing patience with. When you want to assist your progress along the path, do you ever feel your patience is being tested?
Fantastic Podcast(s) I listened to last week.

*a16z podcast is not a fitness industry-related podcast, but one of my favorites to listen to in the world of technology. Face it, we all use technology for our business, which will only be more widely used in the future; we can’t avoid it, and it would be irresponsible to do so as the years roll on.

Website Updated: I made the first large change to the website style and performance. The update was not a functional use update but sets the stage for the rest of the updates to take place for the Map searches, tables to find events and courses.
