Personal Update
I hope everyone did have, is having, or will have a great holiday! I got to spend some time with family this past weekend and actually took some time away from working my hind parts off. I had some nice conversations with my wife about life, goals, plans, and mindset as well as my mother-in-law about goals, hard work, building something from scratch, and working in the present to support long-term goals. It was a great start to the week also considering that I have a “catch up” meeting scheduled with a group of fellow professionals that I met and connected with at the Raise The Bar Conference about a month and a half ago. It’s these seemingly small moments are actually the big moments.

My Notes: It’s always interesting to hear some of the journeys that formed these innovators into their current state. I feel like there’s a consistent message that keeps popping up in my life or one that keeps glowing brighter than other messages. Have One Mission, and focus relentlessly on that 1 single mission. I’m sure everyone has heard of the term “compound interest” or a “compounding effect” in regard to topics around money like savings and investing, but he said “There is a compound interest in focus” and that slapped me in the face.
