OCT 7th | The Monday Report
It's important to value, highlight, recognize and appreciate your people's contributions and successes during their lifetime. Don't meet success with envy. Support friends.
Professional Update
We are in the final Quarter of the year! For me, that means getting ready for Q1 2025 so that you’ll have all the info available and ready to view if you need to plan for it. That means I have about 80 organizations that I must update and ensure are current for their Q1 Annual conferences and in-person seminars. Believe it or not, Q1 typically has some big-time continuing education opportunities. Don’t sleep on Q1 to get in some education and networking.
In addition to updating for live events, before the end of the year, I will add about 400 additional listings in all the categories in FITLETE’s directories for online courses, equipment, software, and business development. There is a lot of work ahead, and as overwhelming as it can seem for me sometimes, I am excited about it because it means I can make this even better for us coaches more than 400 times. Small wins compound to significant impact.

Fantastic podcasts I heard last week:
Freakonomics Radio: 601. Multitasking Doesn’t Work. So Why Do We Keep Trying?
The Macro And The Mindset Podcast: One-on-one with Jen Broxterman, RD CEO Prosper Nutrition
Here’s a link to download Snipd, the podcast app I use to make a “notebook” of A.I. transcripts, bookmarks within episodes, and take notes on each podcast I hear! They have a free app you can use or, with this link, you get 1 month of their Premium version for free: 1 Free Month Of Premium Snipd
Personal Update
I think everyone experiences some sense of envy during their career, especially at a time when you feel like you’re working hard to make things move in a progressive direction. I seldom have these moments (but it does happen; I’m only human, after all, don’t put the blame on me, lol) because I know the people I surround myself with are hard-working people who deserve every bit of success they achieve.
Typically, when October comes, I try to look back on the previous months of the year and reflect on the things that have happened, for better or worse. Sometimes, I get stuck looking at the stuff that I did not finish or could not even start. I have not started the reflection yet this October, but I thought if I wrote it down, maybe I could keep my focus more evenly focused on the good things I did as well.
