March 17 | The Monday Report
Having a small, certain gain is more valuable than chasing after a larger, uncertain one. It's wiser to appreciate what I currently have instead of risking it for something that may never materialize.
FITLETE Professional Update
The Resource Nexus
— Event Updates: The new “fill in the blank” method of search filters previewed in The Monday Report on Feb. 24th is live on the Event Maps!! I believe it works swimmingly, and I hope you enjoy the way it guides you toward any future education opportunity that works for you. Any New filter options will amend this filter format like when I add price ranges, and whether it is an annual event or a course. I will continue to adjust all filtering options to be used in this way.
Equipment Updates: With the primary focus on the USA to start and then working outward from there, I have finally added Canadian companies to the directory. While they are in the database already, you won’t be able to interact with them until the next minor site update. A total of 21 new Canadian companies have been added, and a little over half of them have their product manufacturing and source their materials from within Canada! This brings the total directory to 200!

This Friday, we will reach the 20th episode!! That also means only 10 left until the end of “season 1” interviews are concluded.

Personal Update
— Last week was pretty typical, and I tend to enjoy the status quo-type weeks more and more. Nothing too crazy or bland, the “Goldilocks” kind of week. It’s not that I don’t like “the grind” or problem-solving things for clients and for my own business, it’s just a nice little surprise when things just happen to fall into place without a struggle. They don’t happen often, and in reality, I don’t want them to happen all the time because it would be pretty boring to me, but every once in a while, a nice surprise easy week is welcomed. This past weekend was an exciting one, though. I went to see the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie in theaters on Saturday with my wife Nikki, followed by Pizza Saturday and a beer down the street. Sunday started with training clients and then turned into a fancy car show afternoon, food truck lunch, and Dance Performance showcase all in the neighborhood where I have my HQ! I picked a cool neighborhood to have my facility!
