June 16 | The Monday Report
Wise advice can feel a bit perplexing to those who aren’t quite ready to receive it. Sharing my insights with someone who doesn’t yet see the value might make them question my perspective instead.
FITLETE Professional Update
The Resource Nexus
— Still working through the organizing and building a better system to project a completion timeline. I actually made a project timeline Google sheet to help me better plan within my actual limits.
The Master list of Companies/ Organizations has reached its largest number to date, just over 1,400!! This includes not only education-based organizations, but also companies that will be displayed across the Resource Nexus. So, last week as the visual interactive progress note on the business portal for the Resource Nexus, and this week is the back-end updates that only I will ever see, but you will benefit from with a better user experience, lol.
FITLETE Radio
I am recording new versions of my questions this week and will then send out requests to 30 new coaches for their spotlight interviews next week.
Fantastic podcasts I heard last week:
The Show Up Fitness Podcast— Dr. Farnsworth Overcoming A Torn Achilles / Achilles Injuries
No Stupid Questions— 25. Is Hedonism Better Than Self-Control?
Here’s a link to download Snipd, the podcast app I use to make a “notebook” of A.I. transcripts, bookmarks within episodes, and take notes on each podcast I hear! They have a free app you can use or, with this link, you get 1 month of their Premium version for free: 1 Free Month Of Premium Snipd.
Personal Update
— What a meh week! It was one of those weeks where it’s not bad, sad, or miserable; it was just difficult. It seemed all the small things(#blink182) that could have a hiccup in it just had one every step of the way. My wife Nikki and I termed it “aAa WeEEek” and I think you can read that to how we said it. Luckily, it was all minor frustrations that built up a pile of difficulty, rather than something major, but still.
