Personal Update
— Last week, I had a few days where any kind of admin work felt hard. I didn’t like it. I tried to “muscle through it” and be as productive as I could. It was a waste of time and only made me more frustrated because tasks I usually breeze through took what felt like forever and were a struggle. I don’t know if it’s just me, but sometimes I forget that I’m the only person choosing how and when to work. Luckily, my wife Nikki reminded me of that last week, and we had a laugh about it. It’s okay to step away and take a walk, go home and sit by the pool for a bit, or schedule a day for a haircut to catch your breath. Have you ever had days like that, where you have to accept that not everything will go as planned?
