— As July comes to a close this week, that means some more events and courses will be updated at the beginning of August. It’s funny building the new structure while also doing the updates in the old structure because it’s an easy reminder why I pushed to make the switch and how much more efficient the new way is vs the old way. A lot of redundant processes will be eliminated once it rolls out to the live version.

Personal Update
— A fun weekend: we did a little “Christmas in July” roast dinner, and I started on a new graphic novel-inspired art project. I also reflected a little bit on how, through the years, I am happy I have stayed away from directions I could have led my business where it was affected by seasonality. I don’t market extra around seasonal holidays, New Year's, back to school, or have seasonal lulls. I often hear a lot of coaches talk about summer being a dead time, or saving for “slow season”. Maybe I missed out on some short-term gains; however, looking back, I think the consistency has paid off more than those short gains could have.
