Ads Rating: 95
No ads outside of self promotion after the show ends.
Banter Rating: 90
Very short show intros and episodes with guests the hosts asks for the guest to introduce themselves pretty soon into the show which makes the “time to topic” nice and short.
Structure Rating: 75
The show is mostly based off guest interviews in various business aspects from sales, management and specialty areas. Every now and again the host throws in some short 6–12 minute episodes based on one specific topic. Sometimes they are segments from guests and other times the episode is original content from the host.
Podcast Notes Rating: 60
The show notes are very basic. The early episodes are pretty much just links to the website. Unfortunately the website doesn't help much and their notes have not improved since then. The notes for episodes that are not interviews are just titles and links. The episodes that are guest interviews are a written background of the guest and links to the guest social profiles.
Podcast Titles Rating: 80
Numbered Episodes from the first episode and the majority of the titles are brief yet descriptive enough to understand what will be discussed. However there are some that are not included in the overall episode number count and part of their own series of episodes that are broken up in various parts or segments.
Audio Quality Rating: 95
Sound quality for both host and guests are surprisingly consistent considering the host of the show is from Australia and has guests from all over the world.
My Final Score: B
All about the business. While the shows title implies that it’s only about the bootcamp style business model it really expands across specialties in the field. The guest he has on the show are not always directly related to the fitness industry which is a great big sense of refreshment when hearing a topic that has been spoken on before. I noticed a lot of story telling in the show, but it was a lot of it was relevant to the topics even if it didn’t seem that way in the beginning. I also like hearing the perspectives from professionals primarily based in Australia.
