Personal Update
I don’t talk about my training business a lot here, but I thought I would share how I recently closed a new client. Now, 90+% of my new business is based on referrals from existing clients so I’m not going to tout my unique cold marketing ideas and strategies because I don’t have any secrets. I keep an up-to-date Google Business listing and the most recent new consult I had found me simply through looking for a personal trainer on google maps. He’s new to the area, and my profile came up, had photos of clients and me, had a few reviews, and most importantly had up to date(google lists the last edit/confirmed date) page information about what type of services I offer, hours and how to contact or book a consult. These profiles are Free, and I see having at least an updated one as the lowest hanging fruit to make yourself stand out even a little bit.

Episode 225: Rent-based Vs. Revenue Split: Which is the better model for Personal Trainers with William Le
What’s the deal you have with the training facility you work out of & how do you get paid. Those are probably the 2 biggest questions you need to answer before you even start to train your first client. You need to secure your money first making an opportunity at the start. There are quite a few ways you can train clients and work with a facility. I like how casually they approached the topic and how well they explained the different models. Take a listen.

Education Updates
We reached a HUGE Milestone, 30,000 events! Yes, you read that number correctly! 30K lifetime events logged categorized and visualized just for you. Someone asked me what the next big milestone I’m looking for and I want 100k, and I want it bad! I chose 100k for a few reasons. The most important to me is that making it to that number means I would be successfully building FITLETE year over year for the next 4-5 years. That longevity in this is important and means that I would switch from having 2 full-time jobs(Personal Trainer and FITLETE) to having FITLETE as my only full-time job and being able to train clients on the side. I’m betting on myself. 100K is coming.
