Sometimes the lessons of family can teach you are obvious and intentional while other lessons are more below the surface. i think one of the most important lessons, my family taught me is to never stop asking questions. it's something young kids do all the time, but it's been important for me as I grew up, and as I'm still growing up as an adult. When I need more clarity, I ask more questions. When I want more information without feeling bad, sad or shameful for wanting to understand something better, I ask questions. When I challange an idea, tradition, or convention, I ask questions.
