Ads Rating: 100
They don’t accept ads or sponsorships and any self promotion in the show is in the bookends of the show and it very short.
Banter Rating: 90
There is barely any useless talking in the shows, however there are times when the intros to the shows seems a bit lengthy and repetitive. If the guest is going to introduce themselves then there's no need for the host to also do it the same way.
Structure Rating: 95
It’s an very well structured interview show that allows the guest to talk fully through a thought process and the hosts perspective and input is always inline with the topics.
Podcast Notes Rating: 80
The notes are pretty basic, but the hit all the marks of what you might want to know. You get a small intro to the guest, what they do and bullet points of some of the topics. There are also some links to the guests info which is nice if you want to look them up more. I wish they used time stamps for the topics, and even wrote out more of a summary of the outside info discussed within the episode such as books, people, and resources.
Podcast Titles Rating: 100
All episodes have the same title structure, they have a number, then guest name and finally main topic or idea of the episode.
Audio Quality Rating: 95
The hosts mic is clearly a professional quality mic and the recording is done without any background noise. Majority of the guests audio is also pretty high quality which makes it easy to listen to if you are binging episodes or listening through your car speakers or headphones.
My Final Score: A
I really enjoy this show because it’s a business show, from a fitness professional that interviews professionals and highly successful people outside of the fitness world. The topics are obviously centered around businesses of any kind, but it’s actually easy to see and relate the topics discussed to any freelance personal trainer, gym employee or owner. The show is very professional and more conversational than it is interview-like which makes it easy to stay engaged.
