— These days are moving fast!! Q4 starts tomorrow, and while there has been some progress since last week, I am still a little behind after trying to catch up from some busy weeks. I just have to reorganize and refocus some efforts and resources to get things done. It's a significant time adjustment when I have a full personal training schedule. A happy one, but still a big one.

— Still waiting on some coaches to connect back. I am going to reopen the queue and start asking some new coaches this week that I had reserved for season 4, but sometimes you just have to roll with the punches.

George’s Podcast Reflection Notes
The Active Life Podcast: The Hierarchy of Needs Every Coach Should Understand
The Active Life Podcast states that stretching alone doesn't address mobility issues from passive flexibility. While stretching can increase passive range, improving active mobility requires strength training, like isometric exercises and loaded squats, to build control.
It distinguishes feeling 'short'—a long-term tissue deficiency—from feeling 'stiff,' which is temporary after activity. Mobility is viewed through a movement pyramid, with skill and control at the top. Running often starts prematurely, overlooking basics like side strength, ankle mobility, and quadriceps strength, key for knee support. Improvements in mobility come from strength training, while skill depends on mastering essential physical capacities.

Personal Update
— As the “summer of George” closes, there are a few things that I want to take away from it and carry into all my future days. They are simple, and I wouldn’t say these are huge revelations you’ve never heard of before, but maybe reminders that are good to hear.
Re-evaluate when something feels “too easy”. You’re probably missing something rather than being incredibly good at it.
" Work-life balance” has seasons; it's to your benefit to make sure your short-term goals still align with your long-term goals. The endless grind is a useless hustle if it doesn’t match your goals.
Time is finite for everyone. Things aren’t really THAT important when you start to zoom out a little.
You can’t expect yourself in others. Our personality differences are our assets; it’s best to learn to be O.K. with that rather than fight it.
Your Hobbies and staring at the sky thinking are just as productive. There’s so much power in knowing how to use the mental dimmer knobs and light switches.
