Personal Update
— This past weekend, my wife and I carried our bags and walked an 18-hole round of golf. It has been lovely here in Miami this spring, and usually the humidity would have kicked in by now; luckily, it hasn’t yet. We took full advantage, even though we both played probably the worst we had played since we started playing golf together, lol.
April is over this Wednesday, and I've done a lot of things I’ve been wanting to do, but I’ve also overpromised to myself on quite a few things. I’m not happy about under-delivering, but through the years working with and for myself, I have learned to do the things that I used to struggle with and that is accept the failures for what they are, and then move on to try and attack them again. It used to be so easy to just “shit on myself” for not doing everything I said I was going to do. Now, I can look at myself in the mirror, scold myself appropriately, and then easily reconfigure my mindset to get back out there and try again.
