— 🌶️ Last week, I successfully completed almost all of the annual events, while also incorporating several new ones from organizations that were previously absent from the Nexus. The restructuring of the backend and data organization is taking longer than initially anticipated, which necessitates that any new company or event be registered in two separate systems. Although I am inclined to avoid this duplication, it may be advantageous for overall progress to delay entering new directories until the old system is decommissioned.

— Started asking more coaches! Waiting to hear back from most of them on whether they would like to participate this season. Having 2 seasons under my belt, I am trying to do a better job of explaining the format and that it’s not a Live Interview. While it’s not a new concept, I know it is still unique compared to most other shows, and I have to do a better job of getting this across in my ask.

Personal Update
— My wife and I joined a pretty cool golf social community app called Spark Golf. They work with courses to fill twilight tee times and pair random golfers together in a low-stakes golf league, low stakes meaning you can participate as often or infrequently as you want. I like this low-pressure way to support a hobby; it’s pretty rare in most organized adult sports.
I also found this cool tool called “Handy” that is a free open source project that will run locally on your computer and offline, which allows you to use speech-to-text dictation in any text field you're working in(even in a browser), and it creates and saves an audio file to your computer automatically.
