Ads Rating: 100
No real ads, only information stating that the show is put on by the school program.
Banter Rating: 95
There is pretty much no talk outside of the topic that is going to be discussed, although some of the episodes take a little bit to start or you can’t tell what style of episode they are presenting.
Structure Rating: 30
The only structure they have is that each episode will cover 1 topic. Since it’s delivered by different international students each episode there is little the same between each episode. Some are normal discussion and others are like local middle school drama class productions…just awkward.
Podcast Notes Rating: 50
With the episodes being so short I expected better notes because you can almost include all the info discussed within a couple small paragraphs. They typically only have general information about the topic being discussed.
Podcast Titles Rating: 75
The titles are very simple I just wish that they have episode numbers, or seasons to better organize.
Audio Quality Rating: 85
The audio is well done and thankfully so because there are sometimes some challenging accents to listen too. The international nature of the school will always provide some difficulty to listen to this show at any speed above the normal playback speed, but I don't think that's a reason to not listen.
My Final Score: C
I really like the idea behind the show, allowing students to participate in the podcast to present on a topic. Some of the shows are very simple breakdowns and discussions which is a nice break from a lot of the jargon you might hear on other high level podcasts. I personally have used some of their examples when talking to my clients.
