Professional Update
If you are on this email list, I will begin contacting some of you trainers and coaches for my upcoming podcast project!
Here is a show description, which might be a little different than you would expect:
The show will be on FITLETE Radio (also hosted here on my substack), and the episode format is called “Spotlight.” The show aims to Spotlight one personal trainer at a time in a short Q&A episode.
Spotlights: projecting a narrow, intense beam of light(Interview) directly onto a person, especially a performer on stage(podcast episode).
Spotlight Interview Specifics:
Each episode will have five pre-selected main questions.
You will be given the questions in advance.
Each question has a maximum 5-minute answer length.
Each question can be re-recorded.
Each Episode is recorded Asynchronously. This means I will pre-record my questions, and you will answer each question on the day we arrange together that works for your schedule.
You’re busy; I’m busy. Let’s not let our schedules get in the way.
Each episode is entirely audio-based, so you don’t have to worry about being in the proper recording settings with lights, background, computer, camera, etc., as long as you have decent sound quality.
Each episode can be recorded on your phone or computer.

Personal Update
I recently had a conversation with a client that reminded me of an important lesson. In my line of work, I help clients make lifestyle changes and build habits to achieve their goals. During a discussion about sleeping routines and nighttime water consumption, the client expressed a self-limiting belief by saying, “I’ve never been that guy, though, so I just think that's how I am.” This statement caught me off guard because I believe that such habits and routines are adjustable, just like other lifestyle changes we have successfully worked on. It made me realize how easy it is to make incorrect assumptions about the connections between similar problems. Sometimes it is good to get knocked off the pedestal of being a coach and remember you are always a “client” going through your own thinking struggles of “maybe that’s just the way I am”
