Author/Host
Coach Casey Lee
Description
The 3 Things Podcast, hosted by Strength Coach, Casey Lee, where all conversations are unscripted, candid, and raw. Each guest is asked three questions unknown to them related to various topics of health, strength, athletic performance, rehab, behavior change, business, you name it-it’s all fair game!
Ads Rating: 100
no outside ads only some self promotion
Banter Rating: 85
The entire show runtime is short enough to minimize any amount of banter. The only thing the host sometimes goes on about is the fact that the show is called 3 things podcast, but sometimes he might add a 4th question, and that people will lose their mind in comments to him.
Structure Rating: 100
The entire show is a based around the host asking 3 questions that the guest was not exposed to before the show. Sometimes he asks 4 or 5 questions, not a big deal.
Podcast Notes Rating: 75
The notes are fairly simple and do contain some links to the guests website and or products. There is also a small paragraph that covers some of the topics discussed. I think the host can do a better job with the notes or link to better notes. The shows are short enough where writing good notes will make the show that much better.
Podcast Titles Rating: 75
So close. The don’t have any episode numbers but the titles at least have the 3 questions, and the guests name in it.
Audio Quality Rating: 90
The audio is pretty consistent through out the recordings
My Final Score: B+
I think the concept of the show is really great. I enjoy that it actually works. The questions not being known before the episode makes it seem more like a conversation being recorded than it does a Q&A style interview. It’s fun to hear the guests think on their feet and still be able to have really solid answers and responses tot he questions. They might be similar talking points to interviews they have done in the past, but you can tell that it’s not as polished of an answer, and feels more real.
